What could be more fun then hiking, enjoying nature, and getting a glimpse of history at the same time? These tunnels were constructed during the Cold War era, and were created for the purpose of a faster escape route for Los Angeles residents in the case of an emergency. However, as time went along the projects were never completed, and hence, the tunnels lead to nowhere in particular. Two unique tunnels, an easy 5 mile hike, and scenic mountain tops paired with rolling byways - definitely a memorable hike!
San Antonio Falls / Canyon
Been quite busy lately so haven't been able to update this adventure journal as much as I would like.
Here's a few snapshots of a place we went to last year, but decided to give it a second chance with even sunnier weather. This time around was a much better view and time of day. With the sunlight shining through and a slight fog layer slowly rolling through, who couldn't ask for a better picture taking moment?
