Crystal Cove State Park / Beach

We celebrated my husband's birthday this past weekend by going beach camping. We went back to the beautiful place where he proposed - Crystal Cove State Beach. It was a super fun and amazing weekend, packed full with camping tales, viewing the sunrise, gorgeous views, fishing, and of course, taking long walks along the beach as the marine layer sneaked its way in. We even came across some amusing critters along the way as you'll see for yourself in the video at then end. Pictures can't do the place justice.

Eaton Canyon Falls

Although Eaton Canyon is considered to be one of the Los Angeles area's most popular hiking destinations, this was the first time that we ventured here. It is an easy 3.8 mile hike, and granted for the time of year we visited, the water flow from the waterfall was better than what we expected. Check out the sights yourself in the video below. Hopefully, we can go back when the water flow is even greater!
